THANK GOD!

I have to say, for someone with as little time as you have you sure do make great use of it, pumping out great tracks with relative frequency and I would just like to thank you for sharing them with us all.
Of all the genres you cover, your goa trance are foremost and by far in my opinion the ones that keep me coming back for more. This track albeit titled as hardstyle still carries what I've come to know as your goa trance attributes, and comes together very nicely. Well done once again!

PS Would it be too much to ask to have you PM me when you release new songs? It would be greatly appreciated as I used to check your page every day, but seeing your situation at the moment, (not having your own computer, etc.) I don't check nearly as often. Thanks either way. -Rob

@Yourflashsucks - what? This is nothing like Basshunter, in any way aside from the bounciness (is that a word rofl? it looks dumb).

@the track - GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD pls make moar >:D also, what program do you use for sequencing? and is this mixed/eq'd at all? either way i love it.. makes you want to get up and curbstomp a cat endlessly!

Hmm.

Takes a bit to pick up (2:30? I know you have some things going on from about :23 onward, just seems sort of bland no offense to you because I'm just one person; who knows maybe I just have bad taste?), but once it does I think it sounds decent. At 3:04ish that hard kick with what sounds like a few pitch shifts; is that/are those a sample? If so do you remember where you got it? Back on topic I'd say this is a good attempt but also seems to differ greatly from the hardstyle I'm used to, which is not necessarily a bad thing because it means you're making it your own. Looking forward to hearing more from you in the future, keep at it.

Yeah, I noticed from some of the songs as I went along and made them I didn't seem to grab that attention like I did from my first 3 or 4. These songs I've been listening to over and over again to make sure I can adjust them in various was and I've already got it down.

The thing with my hardstyle is I seem to not be able to grasp people's attention at the beginning which is what I really need to do when I'm have a slow-paced moment in the song where the piano resides. It's all just practice to get that sound that I really want.

Those hardkicks are VEC samples which you can just google "VEC FL Studio Sample Pack" they're very useful haha.

But thank you for the review and I appreciate you pointing out the flaws that I need to work on. Everything is a work in progress! Thanks again! :)

..But what does that matter? Still a pretty interesting piece, although I personally don't really hear "you". It seems to be lacking in what I've come to expect from you, it seems sort of empty I guess is what I mean. I am aware this is not a finished product, and said final piece could be completely different so I'll give you an A for Effort (I dropped out)

Well it probably does sound empty, the only instruments I used was the intro porta-square, the drums, the sine instrument (comes in at 1:54) and the bass. And that's it, lol.

IMO this should be in classical, rather than where it is now; jazz. (until around 3 minutes, then I completely understand why you went with jazz but I still think it would get more attention in classical)

I'm digging this, it's very "final fantasy" sounding. Love the chords they work very well.

Thanks man. Ya im actually in the process of working with my jazz combo and turning this into a full bodied song with a far jazzier feel. If i can get it recorded when we are done then I'll post it here on newgrounds

This is pretty good, but I wonder are you planning on expanding/deepening the track? As is I'd say it could use some work, just because it doesn't sound very.."big" I guess. Throw in some more of your own melodies and liven up the percs and I reckon you'll have a pretty sweet track here.
